FSC Marketing Communications Preparing City of Pittsburgh for G-20 Summit

PITTSBURGH - FSC Marketing Communications, one of Pittsburgh's leading full-service agencies, has been active in preparing the city for the upcoming G-20 Summit.

Through its partnerships with the City of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership and Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh, FSC recently designed a series of window displays, which can be seen throughout Downtown.

The panel series features several themes, each highlighting some of Pittsburgh's unique attributes. Categories such as industry, arts and entertainment, science and innovation, and environmental sustainability are featured on the panels with bright and modern imagery. Leasing information for those interested in renting the properties is also displayed. The panels are displayed on such prominent Downtown locations as the David L. Lawrence Convention Center and on properties along Liberty and Penn Avenues. Similar banners were also completed for the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and are displayed on several of the URA's Downtown properties.

The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership initiated the project as a way to utilize underdeveloped properties to showcase the city to residents and those visiting for the Summit.

"The vacant storefront activation program banners not only liven up our streets, but also help tell the story of Pittsburgh just in time for the thousands of visitors who are here and who will soon be arriving for G-20 Pittsburgh Summit. FSC was instrumental in helping us bring the whole idea to life and we're pleased the banners will be up long after the world leaders leave Downtown," said Hollie Geitner, vice president of marketing and communications at the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership.
