Advanced Technology Institute and FSC Marketing Communications Continue Strategic Partnership

PITTSBURGH, PA -- FSC Marketing Communications, one of Pittsburgh's leading full-service agencies, announces their affiliation with the Advanced Technology Institute (ATI) for its second consecutive year.

ATI helps connect organizations who share common goals while eliminating traditional barriers. Some of the current programs managed by ATI include: the American Metalcasting Consortium, the Forging Defense Manufacturing Consortium, the Center for Naval Shipbuilding Technology, Energy-Saving Melting and Revert Reduction Technology, and the Vanadium Technology Partnership.

FSC is currently collaborating with ATI and the Vanadium Technology Partnership (VTP). FSC is supporting ATI and the VTP by guiding a technology transfer of research and learning related to HSLA-V Steel, or high-strength, low-alloy steel micro-alloyed with vanadium. The goal of this project is to inform metallurgists, steel producers and design engineers of the many benefits of using HSLA-V steel over standard low carbon manganese steel and other alloy steels.

"FSC's drive and determination for complete customer satisfaction has led to an industry first - a dynamic HSLA-V Technology Transfer venue," said Polly Graham, Program Manager for ATI.

FSC's role thus far was to take the technology learned and gained through this research program and develop a strategy of how to present that knowledge to a target audience. In year two of the project, the agency completed an all-new website for HSLA-V steel and will lead the public relations efforts. Visit www.hsla-v.org to explore the innovative website that features an availability search tool for vanadium steel producing companies.
