Downtown Living Exposed Campaign Receives Downtown Achievement Award

PITTSBURGH, PA - November 11, 2009, FSC Marketing Communications, one of Pittsburgh's leading full-service agencies, is pleased to announce that its long-standing client, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership (PDP), has received an Award of Distinction from the International Downtown Association for its 2008 Downtown Living Exposed marketing campaign.

Downtown Living Exposed promoted Downtown Pittsburgh as a great place to live through a multi-faceted campaign that included print and radio advertising, web promotion, sidewalk art and a photography competition.

FSC developed a series of ads for the campaign which highlighted four unique Downtown lifestyles through testimonials and vibrant photography of actual residents. FSC interviewed these residents to learn more about their experiences living Downtown, conducted a series of photo shoots, and designed the striking ads which were featured in such local publications as Pittsburgh Magazine, Pittsburgh Quarterly and Table.

"The Exposed campaign was a dynamic representation of what living Downtown is all about, and we are proud that it has been recognized with this award. FSC was a great partner in this campaign and they did a phenomenal job managing the photography and graphic design components. The ads they created were stunning and really made a great statement about Downtown living," stated Michael Edwards, PDP President and CEO.

The PDP and FSC have worked together on numerous other projects, including the Downtown WiFi roll-out, the Walk and Dine Tour, Thursday's in Market Square Summer Concert Series, Light Up Night, the Paris to Pittsburgh initiative and most recently, window displays for the G-20 Summit.
