Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
As a long-time supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), FSC saw an opportunity to promote the Foundation's work through the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's United Way Program, "Campaign for a Cause." The program invited all marketing agencies in the Pittsburgh area to produce an advertising campaign for a charity of their choice that would then be run in the newspaper. All agencies were given a full-page ad to support their cause. The most creative agency was to be given $75,000 worth of ad space to use however they saw fit.
FSC created the following ad for the JDRF, which was selected by the Post-Gazette as being the most impactful and creative campaign among nearly 30 submissions. Evaluated by a national group of creative judges, this advertising series was chosen as the most outstanding marketing campaign on behalf of a charitable cause. FSC and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation are pursuing the ad for use by the JDRF on a national level.
As the winning marketing firm, FSC elected to give approximately half of the $75,000 worth of free ad space to the JDRF to continue running the campaign in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
